Maple Ice Cubes

Ingredients

MAPLE SYRUP ICE CUBES

  • 1/2 cup Maple Roch maple syrup
  • 1-1/4 cup warm water

 

CARDAMOM MAPLE ICE CUBES

  • 1/2 cup Maple Roch maple syrup
  • 1-1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom

 

GINGER LEMON MAPLE ICE CUBES

  • 1/4 cup diced ginger with skin on
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup Maple Roch maple syrup
  • 1 lemon

 

 

 

Method

 

MAPLE SYRUP ICE CUBES

  1. Whisk together Maple Roch maple syrup and warm water until combined. Fill ice cube mold and freeze. Ice cubes will be softer than plain ice.
  2. To serve, add to lemonade or iced tea; stir well to allow ice cubes to begin melting.

CARDAMOM MAPLE ICE CUBES

  1. Whisk together Maple Roch maple syrup, warm water and cardamom until combined. Immediately fill ice cube mold and freeze. Ice cubes will be softer than plain ice and cardmamom will sink to the bottom of each cube.
  2. To serve, add to iced coffee; stir well to allow ice cubes to begin melting.

 

GINGER LEMON MAPLE ICE CUBES

  1. Combine ginger and water; simmer 10 minutes.
  2. In a measuring container, add Maple Roch maple syrup. Strain ginger water into maple until mixture reaches 1-1/2 cups. Stir to combine.
  3. Cut 2-3 thin slices of lemon into sixth or eighths, depending on the size of the lemon. Place one piece of lemon into each ice cube well. Top with ginger maple mixture and freeze.
  4. To serve, add to rum or whiskey cocktails such as Dark & Stormy or Penicillin or to hibiscus iced tea.
